In Daphne , in position Lakkathela, the excavation of the Mycenaean cemetery  continued , which had been identified from last year . Excavated another six chambered Mycenaean tombs , thus completing the number twelve excavated to date in this position . The tombs were looted and yielded rich finds in pottery , weapons and jewelry from semiprecious stones and glass paste .

Pruning in place Holes , the great fire that destroyed a year extensive woodland Elis revealed five known Mycenaean graves in the cemetery , which had previously been excavated six others . The grave offerings were very rich mainly in pottery ( found over 100 vessels in excellent preservation ) , from which stood some original shapes and decoration while there were and mikroefrimata as beads , spindle whorls , a bronze buckle , etc. The ancient cemetery is not organized as a archaeological site, to be considered for visitors .
